This novel explores a journey about a budding relationship between Raymond and Janelle. She tried to stimulate their dates, but the evolution of that dismal beginning, evolved into a bitter-sweet ending. Janelle would live to tell her story: Raymond would live, but would her be able to tell his story? This novel also explores a mellifluous relationship between Maximillian, (Max), and Janelle. It was a by-chance meeting between them, and Max became her saving grace. Janelle would be forever grateful to her best friend Mimi for forcing her to take a short vacation to the Desert. During the time Janelle and Max dated, he assured her she would laugh, love and live a life of happiness everyday, regardless the distance between them. Oh, how Max loved Janelle; and how she loved him! Tragedy struck and the strength of Janelle's love for Max never waivered. She grieved and cried until there were no more tears. Her heart was heavily burdened with sorrow and unbearable pain: Janelle's soul cried out for yesterday. She wondered if the pain and emptiness would ever go away. Would and could she ever feel whole and love like that again? Not realizing Janelle's loss, Raymond was still in pursuit of her heart. He had his own agenda to salvage the love he knew he could cultivate from her; if only things went his way. What was his agender? Was it sinister in nature, or was it naughty but nice?SHIRLEY D.
